Pre-order Update 04/02/2026

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get things moving. There’s a lot of good news in this update.

If you don’t want to read it all, here’s the tl;dr:
The drivers, pads, bass filter circuits and mesh/paper filters have arrived. The headbands and cases are on the way. The 3D printed nylon/TPU parts, grills and slider mechanisms are in late stages of production.

If no further delays happen, we should be starting the assembly process in about 2 weeks.

Thank you all for sticking with us. While the wait wasn't planned, we've used every extra moment to level up the build quality and user experience. We can’t wait to share the specifics with you in our next update.

Drivers

The drives arrived recently, and we are in the process of measuring them and creating the best matching pairs/quads.

Cases

The cases took a bit longer than expected; There was a small issue with the mould, which had to be corrected to make sure the fabric on the outside doesn’t break over time. This has been corrected, and the cases are now on the way.

Carbon Fibre Headbands

The headbands are finished and on the way to us. It took a couple of samples to get the tension just right but we’re very happy with the final result.

3D Printed Nylon Parts

The parts are in production, and it will take a couple more weeks or so for those to be completed.

Sliding Mechanism and Yoke Metal Parts

The metal parts of the yoke will be produced in-house. We are waiting for the nylon parts to arrive to make sure the fit is just right for those. The sliding mechanism is currently in production with our CNC partner; those parts are made with a special process to harden the surface and keep the feel and look for a long time, unlike most of the other metal parts, the slider parts are made from steel.

Grills

The CNC process for the metal grilles is complete, and the powder coating is in its finishing stage. Those should be shipped to us shortly.

Straps

The straps should be finished and shipped to us in the coming couple of days. We worked with the manufacturer to get them as smooth as possible.

Pre-order Update 15/12/2025

It’s been a while since the last update. We’ll try to break it down as much as possible, but for those who want a general update, here’s the tl;dr:
While a lot of the pieces are falling in place, some of the important ones are delayed by things beyond our control. The main 2 are the drivers, which as of now are expected to end of this month/early January and the headbands, which are also delayed by about 1-1.5 months. We appreciate that this isn’t the best of news, but we’re doing our best to make sure the product you get is the best it can be.

Drivers

As mentioned above, unfortunately, there was a delay of about a month on the drivers, and we’re hoping to get them end of this month or early January.

Cases

The sample cases have been validated, they look and feel great, as well as (at least in our opinion) being useful and protective without being cumbersome. The one in the pictures below has a pocket missing in the lid and a few small details which have been addressed since. The cases are in final production now.

Carbon Fibre Headbands

The prototype headbands have arrived, the finish and fit are as we expected but we have to make a slight adjustment to the stiffness to reduce the clamping force, this should be done soon.

3D Printed Nylon Parts

We have a final supplier for the nylon parts who will ensure the quality is as we require.

Sliding Mechanism and Yoke Metal Parts

The sliding mechanism design has been finished and will be machined soon. The new design improves the rigidity and wear resistance of the whole system by a large margin, which should make it last for a long time.

Grills

The CNC-machined grills have been validated, the final part has both a better finish as well as allows us to have a larger open area and thinner walls.

Straps

We weren’t happy with the final finish and durability of the SLS printed straps. After some consideration and research, we found a better process for getting them done. The new straps are stronger, have a better finish and better feel against the skin than the old ones.

Cable Parts

The barrels and splitters have been completed and delivered. The final parts are made in maritime-grade bronze, which should provide long-lasting durability and look.

Pre-order Update 29/10/2025

It’s been about a month and a half since the pre-orders were opened. A lot has happened since then, so it’s only fair to update everyone on what’s been happening behind the scenes. Thank you again for all the support. I hope this update helps clarify where we are in the process.

Drivers

The production driver samples were validated shortly after CanJam SoCal. The full production batch has now been ordered and is scheduled to arrive in early December.

Cases

The case moulds were validated last week, and production has now begun. A sample will be shipped to us within the next couple of weeks. Once the sample is approved, production will take approximately 30–40 days to complete. We will post pictures of the case as soon as the sample arrives.

Carbon Fibre Headbands

The prototype headbands were sent to our production partner and have since been validated. The moulds are complete and the first sample should be produced and with us sometime in December. There was a small delay due to the Golden Week holiday in China and shipping congestion for our samples, but everything is back on track.

3D Printed Nylon Parts

We are currently in the process of selecting the best manufacturing partner for these components. There are several strong options and the decision should be finalised in the second half of November.

Sliding Mechanism and Yoke Metal Parts

Our in-house CNC machine arrived about a week ago, and we’ve been finalising the design and mounting of different parts of the sliding mechanism and yoke to ensure maximum durability. Once finalised, these parts will be produced by our machining partners. We are aiming to place the production order around the middle of November as the lead time for these components is relatively short.

Grills

After testing and careful consideration, we decided to go with CNC machining for the grills rather than metal 3D printing. The finish and durability of the SLM printed grills did not meet our quality standards. The grills have already been ordered, and finish samples will arrive in November, with batch production to follow shortly after approval.

Cable Parts

The barrels and splitters have been validated for production and are now with our partners. They should be completed in around one month. The wire has already been produced and is waiting for the remaining parts so assembly can begin.
